
Pr Marc Bonneville
Vice President of Medical and Scientific Affairs, Institut Merieux, France, and Chief Scientific Officer at ImCheck Therapeutics
A veterinary doctor and Research Director at CNRS, Prof. Marc Bonneville, is currently the Chief Scientific and Medical Officer at Institut Mérieux.
From 1983 to 2013, he pursued an academic research career in immunology and led an INSERM research center in France for over fifteen years.
In 2013, he was appointed Vice President of Scientific and Medical Affairs at Institut Mérieux, a biopharmaceutical group developing diagnostic, therapeutic, and service activities related to infectious diseases, cancer, and food safety.
Since 2016, he has chaired the Alliance for Research and Innovation of Health Industries (ARIIS), an organization promoting partnerships between public research and industry in health innovation
Between 2020 and 2022, Prof. Marc Bonneville served as Chief Scientific and Medical Officer of the Mérieux Foundation, a non-profit organization working to strengthen diagnostic and research capacities in resource-limited countries and communitie facing infectious diseases.
Author of over 200 scientific publications, he is also the co-inventor of eight patents and co-founder of Innate Pharma SA. He has participated in more than fifty national and international scientific advisory boards and evaluation committees. Prof. Marc Bonneville is a recipient of the CNRS Bronze and Silver Medals, as well as several awards from charitable foundations.
